#4 jesus essentials

Journal

Journals are extremely helpful for us to keep up our relationship with Jesus! In the hectic lifestyle of university, we need to unwind, speak to the Lord and share about life with Him. Writing in our journals is also a great way to make sure that we remember the great things the Lord has done for us. Reading back our old journal entries reminds us to keep our eyes set on Jesus even in the secularism of uni life. Journals are essential for us to take down truths during Witness Wednesday sessions as well!

A sick Praise & Worship playlist

Travelling from any part of Singapore to pulau NTU takes a very long time. To accompany us on the journey (that seems like a lifetime), a great praise & worship playlist with all our favourite songs is essential. It will definitely keep you from getting bored on the long commute. In addition, it is also a great reminder of God's everlasting presence in our lives! Head down to the CSA spotify playlist to find your favourite songs!

Bible

A Bible is 100% necessary for us to refer to scripture during sessions and to learn more about the Lord. The stories in the Bible also teach us how to live life as a disciple. Reading scripture will help us to grow to be the strong Christian students that God desires us to be! The Bible is God's love letter to us and encourages us in our university life.

Rosary

Another person who is very important in our lives is Mother Mary. She is the most powerful intercessor and we need her prayers to get us through the busyness of university life. We should practice praying the rosary as a beautiful request for prayers from our dearest Mother. To pray the rosary, we need a rosary! Carrying a rosary around will remind us to ask Mother Mary for help and reminds us of the love she has for us.

Free Wednesday Evenings

Wednesday is the most important day for a Catholic student in NTU. Mass and Witness Wednesday happen on Wednesday evenings and we need to be free to attend these activities! Our Catholic community is an essential part of our university lives. CSA keeps us accountable and motivates us to set our hearts on Christ.
